Unintended Consequences

from 29.99

A widely seen short focusing on the draconian impact of the Rockefeller Mandatory Minimum Drug Laws on families and communities in New York City as we follow The Mothers of the New York Disappeared and Terrence Stevens, who was paralyzed from the neck down since childhood by Muscular Dystrophy and served 9 years out of a fifteen-to-life sentence and was granted clemency.  The film was used in the campaign by the Drug Policy Institute, which participated in the efforts to bring about changes to the Mandatory Minimum Drug Laws.
